LDX45-UAV Aircraft Data:
It is the goal of SKYndt to replace where ever possible all manned applications of FLIR with our LDX line of UAV’s.
SKYndt’s newest UAV (The LDX45-UAV) has moved from paper into production. Our production facility will have the first plane of four delivered for testing by Feb. 10, 2009.

The LDX45-UAV is our newest and first commercial application UAV. This UAV has been designed from the ground up to be a workhorse. Built with a heavy payload, extended endurance, strong durability, multi-landing options (Skis, Floats, Wheels) and much more. The LDX45-UAV will be at home in extreme conditions. The onboard electronics system on the LDX45-UAV consists of the most advanced technology avliable for civilian use. From a state of the art FLIR Thermal Imaging System to our Laser Altimeter, HD Video & Picture Camera, AutoPilot, Dual Gimble Imager, Communications – Satellite Uplink (via Iridium), UAV Airframe, Onboard Computer, GCU and more.
The LDX45-UAV has been designed to reduce the costs of FLIR Inspections currently being conducted with Manned Rotary or Fixed Winged aircrafts. Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is also known as Non Destructive Examination (NDE) or Non Destructive Inspection (NDI) around the world. FLIR is a type of NDT that allows the inspector to see heat signatures of various objects and determine quality or issues associated with those objects.
